Just want to make a quick report that Ada has been sleeping through the night without any medication for 2 weeks now. So, no more groggy, no sleepy and no grumpy.
It had been 2 years since the accident. Just think about that time when she was in the hospital, fighting for her life, and now she is laughing, smiling, walking, eating and she even gives me a kiss. Daddy gets a bigger kiss, of course.
We are working on bathroom training. She is more aware of what is going on and is able to let us know. She starts pointing her finger to the TV remote control and I assume that she wants to watch something else. Her favorite show is Spongebob Squarepants.

What cute photos! It's so nice to see her smiling :)
She is looking great and so happy! Ponsawan, you are a miracle worker, continuing always with so much patience. Your daughter has an angel and that is you.
Wonderful pictures of smiles and go great to see Ada walking. Really special to hear from your previous entry that Ada is able to return so much of your love to you.
Hi Ponsawani,
Great to see Ada's wonderful smile!!! I love the pictures! She has gained some weight! Thank you for taking time to keep us updated. I appreciate it soooo much!
This is amazing that she is not needing the meds to sleep through the night! That is wonderful!
Keep up the good work toilet training, training her to communicate what she wants and giving kisses.....We use to tell our kids in Haiti... just like vitamins are nourishment for the physical body...kisses are the vitamins for the spirit. Keep giving and receiving those healthy vitamins!
Mike is back from 9 days in Haiti taking the aid there. They were 9 wonderful days with part of our Haitian family! Thank you for your support on this too.....
Two years ago no one would have said that Ada was not only going to pull through, but so well..so quickly! She is a fighter and a champion just like she was before the accident. She is a very determined person and you are her role model! Thank you for all you do...you are a great mom!!!!!!!
Love and a great big hug, F&M
I have not been around much and wondered how things have been going with you and Ada. I am soo happy to see she has made so much progress.
I pray that she can make more strides. I bless you for your strength mom.
Hello Ada's Mom:
I only knew your daughter when we met at a RA conference when I was at Indiana University. She was always so friendly and full of life. Her story has touched me and the love of your family is remarkable. Ada will be in my prayers for continued health and progress.
My sister suffered a major brain injury also so I know how hard it is to see someone in the most critical condition at the ICU and then witness true progress in front of your eyes, when they are laughing and smiling in front of you again. It's truly a miracle.
I would like to help in any way I can. I'll check your site out to find out how to donate.

I love that smile.
Go ADA go! I love you, your mom and every loved one in your life.
I am glad I can send you more support today. Have not done that in a while but often think of you. Hope Idiana spring arrives and stays forever beautiful for your everyday walk and museum visit.
Love,
Yui
